Edward L. Williams ([1826-1906) was a contributor to History of Santa Cruz County (Harrison-1892). In 1890, he interviewed former Mission Santa Cruz neophyte Lorenzo Asisara, and that interview was included in Harrison's history. Harrison's mother Helen (SWC, page 165) owned a large parcel that, for many years, prevented extension of Front Street past Cooper. Son Edward C. Williams also has a biography in Harrison. Son Charles E. was also a Soc. of Pioneers member.
