Elon G. Peck (https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/138718723/elon-galusha-peck 1828-18910), born in New York, came first to California in 1850, went back to NY, and moved permanently to the Soquel area in 1871. His family accompanied him, including father Samuel Peck (1784-1873), who shares the family plot. Elon acquired the Soquel property previously owned by Henry W. Peck (a relative?)
