From Santa Cruz County history wiki
Owen Tuttle, born in Ohio, came to California in 1850, and to Santa Cruz County in 1872. He and his brother Daniel were well known in Pajaro Valley/Watsonville affairs, and one or both were members of the Galoot Club.
- An editor's note following Owen Tuttle's bio in Category:Santa Cruz County History Journal Number 4 clarifies that this is probably the same person as Owen S. Tuttle, listed as a school trustee in Santa Cruz County, Calif. Illustrations, with Historical Sketch (1879 book), and also profiled in Guinn. Owen S. was a son of Daniel Tuttle.
Tuttle's son Iowa H. Tuttle is also profiled in Guinn.
