Armas, Felipe
From Santa Cruz County history wiki
Felipe Armas was a former soldier at the San Francisco Presidio in Alta California when he came to Santa Cruz with his brother Joaquin and, in 1842, bought half (or all) of an adobe dwelling originally built by Mission Santa Cruz. Roman Rodriguez of the locally-prominent Rodriguez family acquired the other half, and the building is now often referred to as the "Armas and Rodriguez adobe". The adobe structure is the main feature of Santa Cruz Mission State Historic Park. In 1864, the Armas half of the adobe was acquired by the Neary family.
