Santa Cruz Hotel
From Santa Cruz County history wiki
Santa Cruz Hotel is no longer a hotel, but survives today as home to a pair of restaurants. The 1877 two-story structure was a project of downtown Santa Cruz developer Robert Whidden. In its early days it was the Germania Hotel which, from its location close to the narrow-gauge train depot (prior to the 1893 Union Depot), catered to German-speaking visitors.
