Santa Cruz County Historical Trust

Santa Cruz County Historical Trust was a local-history interest group established in December 1986, in a merger with other historical groups, including the Santa Cruz Historical Society. The Historical Trust was so named because it was assigned responsibility for management and use of the newly-created McPherson Publications Fund to promote local history publication projects. The Historical Trust merged with the Santa Cruz County Art Museum in 1996 to form what has become today's Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History - Publications of the Historical Trust included the first two issues of the Santa Cruz County History Journal.

Currently, history publication projects are administered by the MAH Publications Committee.
