Long Marine Lab is a satellite facility of UCSC called the UC Santa Cruz Coastal Science Campus, located on the coast just north of Santa Cruz at what is now called "Terrace Point". Descendants of Charles B. Younger donated forty coastal acres to UCSC in 1973. The Younger name is still attached to the adjacent lagoon and beach.
