William R. Radcliff (1854-1923), born in Ohio, was in 1892 the proprietor of the Pajaronian newspaper in Watsonville (Harrison, p.170). Radcliff married the former Annabelle Tuttle (1861-1900), daughter of Owen Tuttle of Watsonville.

Younger brother George (1868-1948, Harrison p.282) came to Watsonville in 1881, working as an apprentice at the newspaper, and was Watsonville postmaster from 1902-1907, before moving to the Sacramento area (Grass Valley).
