Otis Augustus Longley (1844-1894), a native of Boston, was shown as a property owner ("vacant") on the 1866 Santa Cruz map, in "Block No. 3" (Green Street). Longley's wife was the former Mathilda Hecox. Their 1860s house still stands at 127 Green Street.
