Late Harvest, subtitled "Wine History of the Santa Cruz Mountains", was published in 1983 by The Late Harvest Project. Credited author is Michael R. Holland. Chapters:

  • Chaine D'or: The Winemakers of the Santa Clara Valley. Includes famous names like Paul Masson. The Billing/Sickert vineyard in Woodside is not mentioned.
  • Wines of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Includes photos of many labeled wine bottles. In 1977, comedian Dick Smothers reopened the Villa Fontenay vineyard and winery, producing "Smothers" wines.
  • The New Renaissance
