Isidro was a former neophyte at Mission Santa Cruz who, along with another neophyte named J. Petra, received title to half of the adobe structure that now is part of Santa Cruz Mission State Historic Park when the mission was secularized in the late 1830s. Petra and Isidro sold their half interest to Felipe Armas in 1842.
