Anthony E. Allegrini (1908-1984) was an M.D. who created the upper Westside neighborhood subdivision called "Allegro Heights" in 1939. Allegrini bought the large tract, between Escalona Drive and High Street, from the Charles Moore estate. One-block Allegro Drive is in the middle of the subdivision.
