Isaac E. Davis (1826-1866) was a lime manufacturer in Santa Cruz from 1853, in the "Davis & Jordan" partnership with A. P. Jordan. After Jordan sold out to Henry Cowell in 1865, Davis partnered with Cowell until Cowell took full control after Davis' 1888 death.
