Rhodes family
From Santa Cruz County history wiki
The Rhodes family once lived on Water Street in a house that still stands in front of the County jail. It may have been a member of this family for whom John Morrow designed and built the "Rhodes building" on Pacific Avenue in 1868. Indexer Stanley Stevens identified this family as one having a plot in Santa Cruz Memorial cemetery. If true, Charles T. Rhodes (1865-1927) was likely the one who hired Morrow.
