Pleasure Pier

The Pleasure Pier was built extending out from Santa Cruz Main Beach in 1904 by entrepreneur Fred Swanton, adjacent to his "Casino". The pier survived the 1906 fire that destroyed the first Casino, and was removed in 1963.
