From Santa Cruz County history wiki
Paradise Park is a privately-owned retirement community just north of Santa Cruz, situated between the San Lorenzo River and Highway 9, on the former site of the California Powder Works and San Lorenzo Paper Mill. Parts of the pre-existing infrastructure have been incorporated into Paradise Park, notably the 1872 covered bridge.
