Heath, Charles H.

Charles Henry Heath (1849-1922) came to Santa Cruz in the 1860s, with his parents and brother Frank. He became a successful merchant of hardware and metal products, first (1867) in partnership with William Anthony as Anthony & Heath, and later as Heath & Byrne (full name of Mr. Byrne not yet found).

• Elliott, p.f54, has a drawing showing the "Heath and Byne" [sic] storefront in the McPherson building, which still stands at the corner of Pacific and Locust.
