Seacliff State Beach is a section of a long stretch of beach along Monterey Bay in the "mid-county" area of Santa Cruz County. The continuous beach begins at New Brighton State Beach in Capitola, adjacent to Seacliff beach. Next is Rio del Mar State Beach (Rio del Mar is an Aptos neighborhood), actually a sub-unit of Seacliff, which begins at the mouth of Aptos Creek. Farther to the southeast are Manresa and Sunset State Beaches, before reaching the county line.
