The San Lorenzo trestle crosses the San Lorenzo River near its mouth, carrying the tracks of the Santa Cruz Branch Rail Line. The first trestle in this location was built by the Santa Cruz Railroad in 1876. The current steel truss trestle was built in 1908. The narrow 1908 pedestrian bridge running alongside was replaced in 2020 by a wider bridge, part of Riverwalk park and the Santa Cruz County Coastal Rail Trail.
- Note: another railroad trestle, which carries trains traveling from Roaring Camp to Santa Cruz, crosses the SLR at Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park.
