Tuttle, Owen
From Santa Cruz County history wiki
Owen Tuttle (1827-1889), born in Ohio, came to California in 1850, and to Santa Cruz County in 1872. He and his brother Daniel were well known in Pajaro Valley/Watsonville affairs, and one or both were members of the Galoot Club. Harrison mentions that Owen's daughter Annabelle married newspaperman William R. Radcliff.
- An editor's note following Owen Tuttle's bio in Category:Santa Cruz County History Journal Number 4 speculates that this is probably the same person as Owen S. Tuttle, listed as a school trustee in Santa Cruz County, Calif. Illustrations, with Historical Sketch (1879 book), and also profiled in Guinn. Find-a-Grave records indicate, however, that Owen was a nephew of Daniel Tuttle, while Owen S. was Daniel's son.
Tuttle's son Iowa H. Tuttle is also profiled in Guinn (p.476) and Martin.
