Nathan P. Ingalls (born 1822 in New Hampshire; Harrison p.292) came to California overland in 1853, and first came to Santa Cruz in 1871. He became a stagecoach driver, doing various routes, and having the Santa Cruz-Pescadero route for a number of years until 1886. He served on the Santa Cruz County Board of Supervisors from 1885 to 1891.
