Watsonville Slough is an extensive wetlands system in the Watsonville area, entering the Pajaro River from the west near the river mouth. The system comprises many permanent channels and bodies of water, several of which are named for area pioneers, including: Hanson Slough, Harkins Slough and Struve Slough.
