Every Structure Tells A Story is a 1990 book published by the Santa Cruz County Historical Trust Publications Committee. Now out of print, the book was republished digitally in 2015 without editing/updating, in the MAH Online History Journal. General information on historical property research techniques was included, along with three stand alone articles demonstrating use of those techniques:
- Sarah A. Bunnett: "Willowcroft: The Land, The House, The People"
- Rick Hyman: "Early History of the Carmelita Cottages"
- Tina Slosberg: "From Brewery to Farmhouse"
- Stanley D. Stevens, compiler: "Newspapers of Santa Cruz County"
An updated version of these research techniques, by Joe Michalak (2022), is available online at SCPL.
