Isaac H. Pierce (1821-1865. Note: the 1862 date of death shown on the website is incorrect) may have been an attorney. In 1864, he was appointed executor of the estate of William Nickerson. A house on Mission Street was built for Pierce in 1859. Another, on the Watsonville road (today's Soquel Avenue) was built in 1863. The [ widow Pierce sold that house] to F. J. McCann in 1867.
