Canfield, Lawrence P.

Lawrence Picknell Canfield (1904-1984) headed the Seaside Company from 1952 to 1984 and, with Fred Gilbert, subdivided much of the former Riverside Hotel land in 1945. His middle name - Picknell - is his mother's maiden name.
