Baird, William

William Baird (1843-1905; Harrison p369), born in Vermont, came to San Francisco in 1868 and soon found teamster work in the Santa Cruz County timber industry. He hauled for and/or contracted with timber/lumber operations of F. A. Hihn and the Dougherty brothers.
